The AESHL made a donation to Hockey NL's Breakaway Foundation on Saturday night during the St. John's Toyota Plaza Caps game versus the HGOE CeeBee Stars at SW Moores Arena.

Incorporated in 2012, the Breakaway Foundation is a non-profit organization with the goal of providing financial assistance to youth of Newfoundland and Labrador who dream of playing minor hockey.

Working in partnership with Hockey NL, the Breakaway Foundation strives to support the development of youth hockey, healthy lifestyles, and to provide an opportunity for all kids to participate in hockey, regardless of financial situations.
